Residence for Shri Jeevat Singh

Jeevat Singh Chark a chemist businessman wanted to build a house at Atal garh Bhaderwah in his ansestral land. Being a shopkeeper and businessman had no time to do it himself, so came to us for the same.He wanted to have a big house with open spaces.

Our Solutions

The concept is a mix of contemperory and modern artchitecture,having 3 floors.

Ground floor accommodating living/ dining,drawing,two bed rooms with attach toilets,a store,kitchen,pooja room and sun facing long verandah.This house has two entries separating the circulation in house.First floor accommodating family room,with open kitchen ,two bed rooms with attach toilets,glass house and sun facing long verandah.Second floor accommodating 1 hall ,2 bed rooms, kitchen and verandah.

Bhaderwah is a cold place receiving snow in winter so the design of the house is sun oriented having sun facing long verandahs and glass house used for sun baths. The roofing of the building is done in C.G.I sheets as the region is snow receiving.

The house has an open car porch and front lawn in different levels to go with the slopes of the plot.

Interior of the house are eye soothing and colour combinations are english colours.This project is a turnkey project and we have done it from designing, working drawings to execution.
